HELENA, Mont., April 15, 2021 — Today, Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte signed two major pieces of legislation protecting First Amendment rights in Montana higher education, HB 349 and HB 218 . The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education provided both written and oral testimony in support of the two bills.
